- UW, dr hab. Jolanta Choińska-Mika,
- UW, dr Marcin Engel,

The preparation of the programme was preceded by a detailed needs analysis and the development of a competency model for a beginning teacher at UW.
The main objectives of the programme are:
- preparing beginning teachers for their educational tasks by developing their competencies,
- supporting the process of implementation into the profession of academic teacher.
The programme is aimed at those with no more than 5 years of experience in teaching students, employed at the University of Warsaw and wishing to develop their competencies.
It has two components: group training and individual teaching tutoring conducted by experienced teachers. The thematic scope of the training provided by the programme includes adult teaching and the special educational needs of students.
The Young Teachers Programme has already had three editions, the first two of which were financed by the Integrated Development Programme at the University of Warsaw, and the third edition by funds from the University of Warsaw granted by the Rector of the University of Warsaw.
The 4th edition of the programme is scheduled to start in February 2025. Heads of teaching and learning units shall submit applications on behalf of academic teachers.
